In this scene we continue with the more subtle use of symbolism. To the untrained eye the rabbits as well as the Salvador Dalí style melted clock would have gone unnoticed, but once you know what to look for it becomes obvious. The rabbits are a reference to the film Alice in Wonderland, a film along with a few others (mostly the Wizard of Oz) that are used in Monarch programming.
